Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using HelloTrucker.ai (“HelloTrucker”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old to use HelloTrucker.

2. What HelloTrucker Is

HelloTrucker is a marketplace that connects commercial truck drivers (“Truckers”) with transportation companies and recruiters (“Carriers”). We are not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any employment agreement. We do not guarantee job placement, interview requests, or any specific outcome from using the platform.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your profile. Falsified CDL classes, experience, or endorsements may result in immediate account suspension.
• Carriers must hold a valid USDOT number and comply with all applicable FMCSA regulations.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not share your account with other individuals.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use HelloTrucker to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job offers or trucker profiles
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Spam users with unsolicited messages or contact outside the platform
• Scrape, copy, or republish any data from the platform without written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Use the platform for any purpose that violates federal, state, or local law
• Solicit personal financial information from other users

5. Job Offers and Payments

Carriers who post job offers on HelloTrucker agree that their offers are genuine, comply with applicable wage and labor laws, and will not be used to collect personal information under false pretenses. HelloTrucker processes carrier subscription payments via Stripe. All payments are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Refund requests must be submitted to support@hellotrucker.ai within 7 days of the charge.

6. Messaging and AI Assistant

HelloTrucker includes a messaging feature and an AI assistant named Anna, powered by Anthropic's Claude. Messages sent through the platform may be stored to provide the service. Anna is designed to assist with trucking and recruiting topics only. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information through the AI chat. HelloTrucker is not responsible for decisions made based on Anna's responses.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on HelloTrucker.ai is owned by HelloTrucker or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission. By submitting profile information, you grant HelloTrucker a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content to other users of the platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

HelloTrucker is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any job opportunity will be available. We are not responsible for the conduct of any Trucker or Carrier on or off the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloTrucker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform, including lost income, employment disputes, or data loss. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to HelloTrucker in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@hellotrucker.ai. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from public listings within 24 hours.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
